Breast Augmentation Breast Lift And Breast Reduction

Breast is the symbol of desire for men. Apart from feeding the babies, it plays the most important role in attracting men towards women. The pleasure of sex increases a number of times with its appearance. Breast is capable of enhancing the beauty of woman to a higher level than those who suffer from inferiority complex having either small or saggy breasts.

Historically too women with ideal size and attractive breasts always earned admiration and recognition from all men whether young or old. On roads, it's a common experience of women with admirable sizes, to find hundreds of passer-by staring at them with great interest.

It's a fact that eyes of men always tend to move towards the big sizes of women spontaneously. Very few men can resist this urge in spite of best efforts. This peculiar tendency may be attributed to sexual desire attached with it.

Most women may be wondering why men always look at their sizes and think this is somewhat perverse and peculiar. Though embarrassing they fail to understand the evolutionary and psychological reasons related to this eternal desire.

Moreover, women with big sizes easily turn on a man's sexual desire and an 'urge of more creation' by 'mother nature' is at play. It may be mentioned from psychological point of view as well that a man in distress always finds peace and great comfort when he keeps his head on the bosom of her mother, wife and partner.

Why Men Are Attracted Towards Breasts

  • Breasts are symbol of fertility :  By nature men are always attracted towards healthy women who are able to reproduce. Besides, breast always represents a symbol of fertility and infuse the notion that the woman would be able to bear his off-spring well and nourish them also.
  • Breasts are the key to second base :  Breasts are near the libido, the key to the second base, thus playing and fondling with them leads to sexual arousal.
  • Breasts are comforting and nice to touch : Breasts are soft but hot, nice to touch and most men are emotionally and psychologically linked to them and resting heads on them produces a sense of deep relaxation and peace.
  • Breasts are tools to foreplay : Total sexual satisfaction is difficult to be fulfilled without a perfect foreplay and breasts play a major role in the foreplay.
  • Breasts are great to look at and offer visual stimulation : It's very common to men of all ages to always stare at breasts eagerly and this act induces a feeling of excitement and stimulation.
  • Feeling of prestige : While searching  for partner, though not admitted openly, most men are easily attracted to women with great sizes and it give them a feeling of 'social status' and 'above the average' position in the society. Fact is being explained and qualities of women are not being undermined in any way at all.

Psychology of women about breast

Needless to say that all women of this planet always dream of having an enviable 'God Gifted' bosom just like long superb shiny hair and become the center of attraction among all specially men. Unfortunately, all are not blessed with this privilege.

This can affect a woman's personality, can cause emotional setback and even creates an 'inferior complex' in her. The feeling of shame and hesitation to discuss this problem with anyone also makes her weaker and this may even lead to serious 'depressive disorder'. What is the way out?

Breast Augmentation :

Under this procedure, an implant of soft silicon shell filled with silicon gel or saline solution is placed under the breasts tissues or under the chest muscle beneath the breasts. An incision is made in the bottom of the breasts, the armpit or along the lower edge of the Areola (the dark round shaped area around the nipples) to insert the implant.

The implant is generally placed under both the breasts in such a way that both of them look of same size. Some doctors are of the opinion that placement of the implants under the muscle lowers the risk of 'capsular contracture' ( a condition if which tissues surrounding the implants harden) than when the implant is placed under the breast tissues.

Placement of the implants under the chest muscle also interferes less with 'mammography'. After insertion of the implant they are carefully positioned and adjusted by experts in such a way that both the breasts appear to be natural and of same size Next the incision is closed with stitches

Another technique of breast augmentation is 'fat transfer'. Under this method liposuction is used to take out fat from other parts of your body and inject it into the breasts. This technique is effective for those women who prefer a small increase in the size of the breasts and prefer natural look.

Breast Lift (Mastopexy) :

Over the time a woman's breasts undergo changes in size and shape and loses its elasticity due to various factors such as - pregnancy, breastfeeding, aging, body weight or heredity.

A breast lift surgery is done to raise the sagging breast and to elevate the nipple and areola. This surgery is done by removing the excess skin and tissues from the bottom of the breasts and from around the areola.

The remaining tissues and skin are then brought together and tightened thus raising the breasts. After this procedure, sometimes placement of implant under the breast tissues or under the muscle beneath the breast may also be required to give it a right shape.  The incision is larger in case of a breast lift than the 'breast enlargement' with an implant.

Breast Reduction Surgery :

Excessive large size breast is not only embarrassing physically and socially but uncomfortable also. Very large breast may also cause neck and shoulder pain. It may also lead to difficulty in daily activities, respiratory disorder and skin/fungal infection.

Breast reduction surgery is done through incision on breasts to remove excess fat, skin and grandular tissues and also reshaping and tightening them. In some cases, liposuction is also used along with excision technique. The technique to be used depend the size of breasts, individual breast composition, amount of reduction preferred by the patient.

Although post surgical swelling and surgical scar disappear over time but complications of breast surgery may include wound infection, loss of sensation to nipples and areola, wound break and unequal breast

How To Lose Belly Fat Post Pregnancy

The Reasons Behind Abdominal Fat

#1) Hormones : Oestrogen hormone is responsible to a great extent for gaining belly fat. The level of Oestrogen reduces during pregnancy leading fat to accumulate around stomach in preparation of breastfeeding. This hormone causes fat centre around hips and thighs.

#2) Pregnancy : Accumulation of fat in the around stomach during pregnancy is vital as it protects the baby. The increase in the level of fat storage is responsible for weight gain during pregnancy. What is worrying to note is that about half of the body fat is centred around stomach during pregnancy. Unfortunately, many women find is really difficult to lose this fat even after one year of giving birth.

Researchers have shown that women who gain more than 15 kg of weight during pregnancy tend to become heavier by about 6 to 9 kg even after one year of deliver of the baby. This is the weight that most women find it hard to shed.

Excessive weight gain during pregnancy not only increases chances pre-clampsia, gestational diabetes, backpain, fatigue, breathing difficulty and many more but also causes ugly stretch marks even after a considerable period of the pregnancy being over.

#3) Genetic/Hereditary Factor : This is the factor that causes men to suffer from baldness or V - shaped hairline after 35 or 40 years of age, women to gain weight specially in the upper arm, thighs or around tummy during pregnancy and also suffer from typical 'female type' baldness. This factor is almost inevitable and unavoidable.

#4) Eating the wrong food : When we talk about obesity or weight gain due to fat during pregnancy, the role of what we eat cannot be denied. Our food habits play a crucial role in deciding what should be our body weight. Habits and addiction to alcohol/sugary soft drinks, weakness for fast/spicy food all add to gain weight whether during pregnancy or during normal times.

Till today, a lot have been said about 'how to lose weight'. Today this topic has a multi crore market and that's specially because today women or men both are not indifferent to their health and look. The hopeful fact is that looking ugly with a huge tummy specially after pregnancy can be reversed and not impossible to get rid of.

#5) Stress : Stress obviously plays a major role in gaining weight and is a factor that counts. To combat stress the human body is forced to produce a large amount of cortisol. The result ? Larger accumulation of fat that concentrates mainly around your tummy. Stress may cause havoc in respect of gaining weight during pregnancy. So bigger the stress the larger is the tummy.

Tips & Ways To Lose Belly Fat After Pregnancy :

#1) Diet : Needless to say, you are eating for two during pregnancy. Still never indulge yourself to eat too much or eat mindless during pregnancy. Try to eat foods rich in proteins, calcium and vitamins but low in fat. Lots of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, egg, fish and meat such as chicken work a wonder for you.

These days experts always insist on avoiding red meat such as mutton, beef and ham to keep blood free of bad cholesterol and keep heart strong and healthy. Pregnant women should also avoid shark, marlin, swordfish etc. Best attempts should also be made to avoid oily fish such as salmon, trout as they contain harmful chemicals such as dioxins.

Diet must also include sufficient fibre as it helps improve digestion, add weight to stool and helps relieve postpartum constipation. Keeping 20 to 25 grams of fibre in diet daily is a wise decision as it lets you burn belly fat more easily. Grow a habit of eating fruits rich in folic acid, vitamins & minerals such as spinach, sprouts, pulses, broccoli and breads.

Drink plenty of water as it dissolves fat.

To know more about Vitamins & Minerals

#2) Breastfeed to lose weight quickly : Many mothers are under a wrong impression that breastfeeding will make them look unattractive with saggy breasts. The fact is that breastfeed helps the uterus to shrink to its normal size quickly resulting in reduction of tummy fat promptly. Besides breastfeed creates a strong bond between the mother and the child.

#3) No to Alcohol, soft drinks, Sugary & Spicy food : As have been said above, these things are bound to make you heavier with larger tummy. These foods and drinks also add fuel to the fire specially after pregnancy. Sugary beverages and alcoholic drinks are an impediment in the way of building muscles and result in growth of more fat. So the more you avoid them, the more you benefit.

This is one of the best ways to bid farewell to the fat that made its home in the middle part of your body during pregnancy. There are other ways also such as Yoga, Aerobics and they can be highly effective as well. Just remember, when you go in for these physical activities after pregnancy is over consult your doctors first.

#5) Self Motivation and No to Stress :

Top 10 Lessons About Infertility And Artificial Insemination To Learn Before You Hit 30

What is infertility?

Infertility is described as a condition in which the female partner is unable to conceive even after having regular unprotected intercourse with her male partner for a considerable period of time. In some countries it is referred to as a period of at least 12 months of unprotected sex. Here, unprotected sex means without opting for any contraception means.

Various studies reveal that about half of all the cases of infertility are due to female disorders while at the most 20 percent of all the cases may be attributed to insufficient and unhealthy sperm in male. Remaining 30 percent may be due to a combination of factors both in male and female.

What is male infertility?

A man's infertility is mainly due to low quality and insufficient sperm count. If the quantity and quality of the sperm a man ejaculates is low it becomes very difficult even impossible for a woman to conceive. Medical tests are required to ascertain whether a man is infertile because of low quality/quantity of sperm.

Sperm transport problem is also a major problem to be taken into consideration. About one out of every five infertile men is found to suffer from this. Obstruction in the tubes that leads sperm from the testicles to the penis may render a man to produce semen completely without any sperm. This problem is witnessed in men who underwent Vasectomy Operation in the past and now want more children.

Reasons for male infertility

  • Addition to alcohol, smoking or drugs may significantly reduce sperm production ability of a man and affects the quality of sperm
  • Use of Anabolic Steroid may lead to testicular shrinkage and infertility
  • Rigorous physical activity produces of high level of adrenal steroid hormones and reduces level of testosterone and leads to infertility
  • Excessive level of stress, anxiety and sleeplessness
  • Use of very tight underwear increases scrotal temperature affecting production of sperm
The above mentioned disorders are not very serious and may be overcome by a change in life style and habits.

Male hormonal disorders

The Hypothalamus-pituitary endocrine system controls hormonal functions that enable testes to produce sperm and properly release the same. The Hypothalamus-pituitary endocrine system may be affected due to:-
  • Failure by brain to release gonadotrophic-releasing hormone(GnRH) that boosts hormonal pathway that results in testosterone systhesis and sperm production. Any disorder to release (GnRH) affects the testosterone level and production of sperm.
  • Failure by pituitary gland to secrete lutenizing hormone(LH) and follicle stimulating hormone(FSH) required for testosterone and sperm production.
  • Failure by leydig cells of testes to produce testosterone in response to (LH) stimulation.
  • Production of any other chemical compounds or hormones by a male may interfere and disturb sex hormone balance.

Erection/Ejaculation and other disorders

  • Erectile dysfunction(ED)
  • Ejaculation incompetence
  • Prostate surgery
  • Spinal cord injury
  • Premature ejaculation
  • Damage to nerves
  • Side effect of some medicines or steroid

What is female infertility?

The most common causes are :-

As we age our fertility also decreases and many problems relating to ovulation may arise. This disorder may be due to :-

  • Tumour or cyst in uterus
  • Addiction to alcohol or drugs
  • Hormonal imbalance
  • Thyroid disorder
  • Stress, anxiety and depression
  • Rigorous physical activities or exercises
Female infertility may also be due to a damage to the fallopian tubes or uterus. It may be due to :-

  • A birth defect
  • Pelvic inflammatory disease e.g. an infection of the uterus or fallopian tubes due to STD(sexually transmitted disease)
  • Ectopic or tubal pregnancy - a condition when an implanted fertilized egg starts to develop in the fallopian tube instead of the uterus
  • Other chronic diseases such as tuberculosis(TB) of the pelvic

Diagnosis

  • Urine/Blood test to ascertain hormonal or thyroid disorder or any infection
  • Exam of cervical/mucus tissues to check for ovulation disorder
  • Exam of the pelvic area
  • Check for condition of reproductive organs and blockage/adhesions/scar tissues by inserting laparoscop
  • Ultrasound test to check for condition of uterus and ovaries
  • Hysteroscopy - in this type of test a tiny telescope with a fibre light to investigate uterine abnormalities
  • HSG - in this test colored liquid is injected into the fallopian tubes, then an x-ray is done to check for blockage
  • Sonohystogram - it's a combination of ultrasound and saline injection into the uterus to find out any abnormality

Treatment

  • Antibiotics to treat infection
  • Hormonal treatment to fix hormonal disorder
  • Medications to stimulate normal ovulation
  • Following nutritional diet
  • Minor surgery may also be required to remove any blockage in the fallopian tubes, uterus or pelvic area

What is artificial insemination?

Artificial Insemination(AI) involves direct insertion of semen into a woman's womb. This method of fertilization was first tried successfully on livestock. Although, many reasons of infertility are medically treatable, there are some specific circumstances where (AI) becomes necessary :-

  • When a woman wants to be a single mother she may go in for AI with a donor's sperm
  •  The female is infertile due to 'cervical factor infertility' whereby the cervix cannot produce enough of this mucus or produces mucus containing sperm killing substances
  • The male partner is unable to perform sexual intercourse due to impotency(erectile disorder)
  • The female becomes allergic to semen when in contact caused by some proteins present in the sperm. (AI) is very effective in these cases as under IUI(intrauterine insemination) method most proteins are removed from sperm before insertion
  • The female suffers from 'endometriosis', a condition in which cells from the womb lining start to grow in inappropriate places such as 'ovaries' or 'fallopian tubes' where they should not. Artificial insemination(AI) is very effective in this type of disorder
  • The male cannot produce sufficient number of sperm required for fertilization i.e. sperm count is very low in spite of treatment
  • The male has become infertile which is 'irreversable' due to some medical treatment e.g. radiotherapy
  • The couple belongs to 'same sex group' because same sex marriage has been recognized in many countries today. If two women want to raise a baby, either of them must be artificially inseminated with a donor's sperm

Want An Easy Fix For Your 7 Exclusive Benefits Of Sex During Pregnancy? Read This!

Benefits of Sex

Sex during pregnancy is absolutely normal though for some mothers sex and pregnancy do not go together. As has been said in our another article 'How To Have Safe Sex During Pregnancy' sex is completely safe and harmless provided the 'mom-to-be' has no other 'complications'. However, sex during pregnancy shouldn't be 'off-limits'. It has been observed that sex extends a host of benefits during pregnancy. They may be summed up as follows :-

  • It improves blood circulation : Blood supply in the body should increase during pregnancy as it is essential to meet the requirements of both the mother and the baby. A sluggish circulation affects the development of 'foetus'. Sex improves this condition by significantly increasing blood supply to the entire body including the 'pelvic' area thus supplying more oxygen and nutrients to the growing baby.

  • Improved Satisfaction & Orgasm : Progesterone and Estrogen are two hormones that are mainly responsible for the enhancement of sexual urge among pregnant women. Most couples admit they have far better pleasure and orgasm during pregnancy. Increased level of estrogen ensures enough supply of blood to the pelvic area thus increasing sexual appetite. Nipples grow harder and other sensual areas become more sensitive leading to orgasm never felt before.

  • Stronger Pelvic Muscles : More supply of blood to the pelvic area ensures stronger pelvic muscles. Strong pelvic muscles enable a woman to handle arduous labor pain more easily and efficiently.

  • Prevents Preeclampsia : Preeclampsia is a typical disorder faced by women during pregnancy only. High blood pleasure (gestational hypertension) and protein in urine are usually indicative of preeclampsia. While there is treatment for this type of disorder with medication, diet control and other lifestyle changes, it has been noticed that sex during pregnancy significantly reduces the probability factor of preeclampsia among pregnant moms.

  • Powerful Immunity : A pregnant woman may become prone to viral attack and infections due to weak immunity. Sex helps to reverse this situation by enhancing level of  lgA antibodies that boost immunity.
